How it works
When an article links to a product, that link may be an affiliate link. If you buy something after clicking it, the retailer pays us a small share of the sale. The price you pay is exactly the same as it would be otherwise.
What it does not do
Commission does not decide our recommendations. We do not rank a product higher because it pays more, we do not add a product to a piece because a program is running a promotion, and we do not remove criticism of something we earn from. If the honest answer is that the cheap option is fine, or that you do not need the product at all, that is what the article says.
